What is one thing you achieved in the last 2 school years that you will remember for the rest of your life?

I will remember my commitment to achieve my diploma even when it became challenging, and I had to push forward regardless. I also will hold close to my heart that I started my journey for my daughter and ended up gaining so much more to help me in life.

What is one way you surprised yourself this year?

I surprised myself by realizing how I can relate to my younger classmates and how they taught me things I was not expecting. I have made lasting friendships and I am a better person for it.

What was a hard lesson you learned through your time in VMA?

For me it was very eye opening how deadlines approach faster than you realize. I learned you have to account for sickness, unexpected emergencies and how crucial time management is when you have a lot of things to juggle.

Is there a specific job you hope to get after graduation?

I really would like to get a job in product styling. I want to learn from the bottom and work my way up. Most of all, I would like to be in a creative environment and be able to express myself through my work.
