MORE is a sustainable maximalist dream presented by the second year Visual Merchandising Arts students of 2023. Inspired by the trends of now while keeping our environmental impact top of mind, we aim to inspire those within the Sheridan network, creative industry and external communities. MORE explores four uniquely different installations that are highlighted in the letters M-O-R-E. Each vignette is inspired by a colour scheme and made entirely of uniquely sustainable materials. Over the course of 10-weeks, students collaborated across fabrication, styling, merchandising and graphic design. We present you...

We are exploring the art of more is more. With a sense of playfulness and bold gestures, we are pushing the aesthetic of excess. Through collaboration and inclusion, each vignette explores individuality and provides a unique, creative perspective.

Trash To Treasure

Old Is New

Cradle To Cradle

Radical Self-Expression

Plastic bags? Corrugated paper? In our eyes, they are all valuable creative supplies. Based on the requirement of Sustainable creation, our materials come from the corners of life. The trash that you sort into garbage? Maybe you can see its new life here.

The old is no longer synonymous with obsolete, tedious and meaningless.
It can be rich in texture, story and creativity. We embrace the old and boldly transform it into a new extravagance.

Art does not equal consumption. We give materials a new mission through restorable and recyclable design. By adhering to the three principles of reduce, reuse and recycle we allow art to sprout in sustainability.

We boldly play with different materials, colours and sizes by using exuberant designs to express rich assertions. We do not stick to simplicity and Straightforwardness, we prefer to show our enthusiastic attitude through visual impact and a richness of exploration.
